- After attending the University of California, Los Angeles, and graduating with a degree in Sociology, a vacation to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina changed Cliff Spangler's life. Cliff and his wife fell in love with the area and decided to raise a family in Charlotte, N.C.After moving east, Cliff joined Hendrick Automotive Group in 1998 as a sales associate at Hendrick Lexus on Independence Boulevard in Charlotte. A consistent top performer, Cliff achieved the 2003 Pinnacle Award from Hendrick Automotive Group for being the company's top sales associate of highline vehicles.The following year, Cliff was promoted to New Car Manager at Hendrick BMW, also in Charlotte. Cliff's department's sales increased and helped Hendrick BMW become the best-selling luxury brand in the greater Charlotte area. The dealership has since earned twelve consecutive BMW Center of Excellence awards and was named the number-one BMW dealership in the country in 2011, 2012, and 2013 based on sales, service and customer satisfaction.Cliff showed promise as a team leader and was promoted in 2012 to General Manager of Hendrick BMW Northlake located at the Hendrick Luxury Auto Mall at Northlake in Charlotte. After a successful start up at the Hendrick BMW Northlake location, Cliff was promoted to General Manager for Hendrick BMW & Hendrick MINI located on Independence blvd.Cliff and his wife have a daughter. The family resides in Charlotte.

    I was born in Dayton, Ohio, but I have lived in North Carolina for 22 years. My first automotive job was with Advance Auto Parts, which led to a job at CarMax. My job there eventually led me to Hendrick BMW. I really enjoy working for a large company with a focus on their employees. You can actually feel the reach of Mr. Hendrick even at the dealership level. Focusing on his Core Values each day makes it a pleasant place to work. The best part of my job is the great relationships I've built with my customers. Some of them call me just to catch up since we've worked together so well. I look forward to growing with the company and one day to play a round of golf with Mr. Hendrick.

    I moved to the Charlotte area in 2004 from the Boston area with my husband Steve. I bring 20 years of automobile financing experience to Hendrick Automotive Group. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as golfing and beaching.Â

   I started my career with BMW in 2006 as a shipping and receiving clerk. After a year or so, I was given the opportunity to learn and expand my knowledge throughout the different areas of the department. In 2012, I made the decision to leave South Florida, which is where I spent most of my youth. That turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. I continued my career by joining Hendrick BMW in July of 2012. I am a firm believer that hard work and dedication pays off. As a result, as of January 2020 I was given the opportunity to become the Parts Manager, here at the New South Blvd location. It is a privilege and honor to work for such a premium and caring company.

    I am a first generation American, who was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. I attended Myers Park High School and Central Piedmont Community College with the intention to transfer to another school, but instead found a career in the automotive industry.
    I began my career selling cars in 2011. From that, I was fortunate to find a position as a Service Advisor at Hendrick Honda in 2015, where I found my true passion. Treating each of my clients with respect and helping them make the best decisions for their vehicles and themselves has allowed me to be successful at every dealership I have worked at. In 2018, I transferred to Hendrick BMW, and I look forward to serving all my clients the same way.
    When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and family, painting, gardening, and taking care of my menagerie of pets. My extended family still resides in Switzerland and Austria, and I enjoy visiting when I can.

I grew up in Concord, NC, originally from Charlotte, which there are not many of us left. I attended Northwest Cabarrus High School and JF Webb High School, where I played baseball and basketball.
I've been in the car industry for 14 years, originally starting at a Goodyear in Charlotte where I learned the ropes jumping around to various locations trying to find what fit. I was then referred to Hendrick BMW by John Paul Kemp, a Service Advisor, and Michael Gosselin, a BMW Certified Technician, who are mutual friends that told me that Hendrick BMW is an awesome place to work. I love coming to work every day. This job has been nothing but positive for my family and I, both personally and professionally. It allows me to travel more and enjoy coming to work. There are plenty of opportunities throughout the workplace for whatever area I want to be in. I encourage others to try to get in with the Hendrick family, as it is a great company to work for!
